The A stood tall even among a class of distinguished steam on the N&W roster. Although best known for speeding priority manifest freights, the A's could handle any job required and often found themselves in other roles. Lionel is proud to bring the A back in an all-new model worthy of its prototype and the Vision name. Built from all new tooling, the Vision A will be available in multiple road numbers with different detail configurations to match the changes in the A's careers from the prototype locomotive to 1218's final excursions. High end features include stereo RailSounds effects from a trio of speakers, stack, whistle and safety valve smoke, a force coupler and kinematic drawbar and for the first time, 4-digit addressing for your LEGACY locomotive using the new Base3 and Cab3!
