The basics: A completely assembled, decorated and illuminated Taco Bell¨ restaurant. The building has Taco Bell¨ graphics, an illuminated interior, outdoor dining, and two die-cast metal vehicles with illuminated headlights. The structure?s footprint is approximately 10-1/2 inches by 11-1/4 inches.
Illumination requires a Menards 4.5 volt power supply, Menards SKU 279-4061, 279-4062, or 279-4050 sold separately.
Why you need this: No matter what era of railroading you model, you want the buildings and signage to match the trains. There are very few O gauge structures out there bearing signage for food chains you can find within a few miles of your house. Rest assured, O gauge train crews and town folks will be delighted to see Taco Bell¨ come to town.
The store?s modest footprint means it should be easy to install in your town without a major urban renewal project! The Taco Bell¨ has the latest building design and graphics of the famous chain. The exterior colors are purple, gray, and tan and the lights have a purple hue to complement the graphics. The Taco Bell¨ lettering is three-dimensional. When the lights are on, the purple light appears from behind and makes the name really pop out.
Exterior details include flower boxes, and arrow graphics on the driveway. Two diners are seated out front and a SUV is rolling in to place an order, while a coupe is stopped in front of the pick-up window. The front and rear lights reflect off the surface of the driveway. And yes, Jack is present and he is being walked past the shop.
The building has an illuminated interior and promotional signs in the windows. If you run contemporary trains with modern structures on your layout, no other building is going to be more up-to-date than the O gauge Taco Bell¨.
